Good evening Oaklawn Family! 

 

This is Principal Trangsrud with your weekly Oaklawn Connect-Ed. 

 

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week:

Monday: Send or give your teacher a surprise of your choice

Tuesday: Send or give your teacher a giftcard to their favorite place

Wednesday: Send or give your teacher a work of art made by you

Thursday: Give your teacher a plant or flowers to show them how much you appreciate them growing you this year

Friday: Send or give a specials teacher (Cox, White, Morris, Traylor), support staff (Gary, Lowery, Matthews, Beach, Masterson, Rivera, Cuevas) an egift card to their email or present them with one

Tuesday, May 7, is Dress Down Day. So, students may pay $1 to dress out of uniform. It is a regular uniform day if students chose not to pay the $1.  All clothes need to adhere to the CMS dress code: no PJ’s, Crocs, slides, or flip flops. 

Also on Tuesday, May 7, at 5:00 pm, we have our monthly SIT (School Improvement Team) meeting on Teams. Please join us using the link provided.  https://rb.gy/xhvyar

On Friday, our school store will be open as usual from 8:45 to 9:15 am.

Este es un mensaje de la directora Trangsrud con su conexión telefónica semanal.

 

Esta semana es la Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros:

 

Lunes: Envíe o dé a su maestro una sorpresa de su elección

 

Martes: Envíe o dé a su maestro una tarjeta de regalo de su sitio favorito

 

Miércoles:  Envíe o dé a su maestro una obra de arte hecha por usted

 

Jueves: Dé a su maestro una planta para demostrar lo mucho que aprecia la ayuda en el crecimiento de su hijo/a este año

Viernes: Envíe por correo electrónico o dé personalmente a un maestro de clases electivas (Cox, White, Morris, Traylor), personal de apoyo (Gary, Lowery, Matthews, Beach, Masterson, Rivera, Cuevas) una tarjeta de regalo

El martes, 7 de mayo, es Día de Vestimenta Informal. Los estudiantes podrán pagar $1 para vestirse sin uniforme. Sigue siendo un día de uniforme regular para estudiantes que deciden no pagar $1. Toda la ropa debe cumplir con el código de vestimenta de CMS; no se permiten pijamas, Crocs, zapatos abiertos o chanclas.
